The CSCS credential represents the gold standard in strength and conditioning — not personal training — and your program reflects that level of rigor and individualization.

Can someone with a history of recurring injury follow a performance program?

Yes — and this is exactly where the clinical-performance combination matters most. Your history is not a barrier; it is context for building a smarter program. Movement faults and load tolerances are assessed and addressed as part of the programming process, not ignored or worked around.

Is performance training only for competitive athletes?

No. Performance training at Build Beyond Health is for any active adult who wants to train with structure and purpose — whether you compete, run recreationally, train at a CrossFit gym, or simply want to stay strong and injury-free as you age. The program is built around your goals.

I just finished rehab. Can I move straight into performance training?

In many cases, yes. Completing a plan of care and transitioning into performance programming is a natural arc here. Your provider knows your history, your movement, and your baseline — which makes the performance phase more targeted and more effective than starting fresh with a new provider.

Do you accept insurance?

Build Beyond Health is a cash-based practice. We accept payment in full or installments, and HSA/FSA cards are welcome. Superbills are available upon request for patients pursuing out-of-network reimbursement. Reimbursement is determined by your insurance plan and is not guaranteed by our clinic.
